We offer the full range of products typically purchased by educational establishments; such as lanyards, card holders, hoodies and t-shirts, graduation gifts and stationery items.
We continue to research new product sources at local and international trade fairs and through independent research; to identify the latest trends and pro-actively bring new ideas and products to our clients. This allows us to provide innovative and creative ideas and product options that suit all budgets, lead times and applications.
The variety of products we supply range from off the shelf promotional pens from leading brands such as Paper mate, Senator and Prodir, to custom designed whale shaped stress items, produced in large volumes for a product launch by Whale Tankers.
We have designed, sourced and managed production of bespoke Costa Coffee USBs, branded and colour matched Wellington Boots and printed purple Clothes Pegs from a Far East manufacturer for use by Leeds Beckett staff at summer music festivals. We have also supplied the NHS with high quality crystal plates and decanters made in the UK as awards for blood donors.
All clothing is available in all sizes manufactured and alternatives sought if a selected brand does offer large or small enough garments. Some brands will offer from Small to XLarge, while others offer XSmall to 5XLarge. Male and female specific garments are available as well as unisex, slim fit, varying lengths of trousers and skirts and UK shoe sizes for footwear. We can tailor any quotes depending on recipients’ specific requirements. We can provide size and colour samples when garment selection has been made.
Where this process is used for a large group or on a particular day, Hambleside staff are available to be on-site to co-ordinate the process and assist with recording garments requirements for each individual. This has proved useful in the past to other clients as it can be run efficiently, safely and accurately, with Hambleside staff arriving with and leaving with the sample garments. Alternatively, we are happy to supply the samples for an extended period of time for this to be undertaken by staff over a longer period of time.
All garments include care instruction, including washing and drying instructions and guidance on keeping the garment in peak condition, affixed to the garment on a label.
If care instructions are needed prior to ordering the garments, these can be requested from the manufacturer.
We also offer a bespoke garment service. Allowing a uniform approach to all areas of the School is often appealing and can create a further sense of community and team spirit, especially in sporting areas. Designed and manufactured solely for your institution, these garments can be tailored to specific needs or sports, pantone matched to highlight the branded image and branded zip pull, neck tapes, sewn labels and even swing tags for retail purposes, can be included to create valued, truly unique garments.
Once garments have been produced, Hambleside will ensure all items are bagged where required and labelled appropriately to allow easy identification and distribution. Again, Hambleside staff can be on hand to organise this and aid with collections where required
All sourcing is mainly done through our major key trade suppliers which are all UK or European trading organisations that comply with European trading laws. These suppliers are vetted either through our purchasing group, The Page Partnership or by Hambleside itself.
Suppliers are evaluated upon, amongst other areas; quality (including plain product, branding and quality control procedures), competitive pricing, labour standards, raw material sourcing, compliance with all laws and appropriate legislation, financial stability, environmental credentials, ethical policy and customer service standards.
