Hambleside Merchandise is delighted to announce that we have been selected as an approved merchandise supplier to the University of Bath. This is the first merchandise contract that the university has entered into and Hambleside was chosen out of 17 applicants.
The University decided to go out to tender in order to streamline their purchasing and implement higher levels of brand control. A rigorous tender process took place whereby evidence of customer satisfaction processes, quality control, environmental standards, supplier relations and product sourcing capability had to be produced. A site visit to our offices in Waterlooville also took place where our financial credentials were assessed. The visit was extremely positive! Hambleside Merchandise was chosen over the competition due to our quality of service and the quality of products we supply. We will be working closely with the University’s design department on the merchandise which will include all stationery, USB sticks, mugs, bags…. And branded rubber ducks!
The University holds an annual rubber duck race down the river Avon to raise money for charity. The ducks are hurled into the river at Pulteney Bridge and the winner is the first to cross the finish line at North Parade Bridge!
