Red Nose Day fun!

Friday 15th March 2013 saw Hambleside join in the fun to raise money for Red Nose Day. Comic Relief presents a great opportunity for us to fundraise to support good causes in both the UK and Africa, both countries at the heart of our business. Red was the theme of dress for the day in the office, each person contributing a donation for the privilege. A prize was up for grabs for the best dressed, won by Jennie wearing her Santa suit (well, it is red!) Scrummy cakes, care of our resident baker Paula, were a big hit and contributed to the overall funds raised. Even the chickens joined in with Suzie donating the proceeds of her weekly egg sales to the pot. Not wanting to leave our customers out, we agreed to donate an additional £5 for every order placed between 11th and 15th March over a value of £250. Our total fundraising efforts for the day raised £325
