    Quality and Standards

    Quality Assurance Hambleside are entirely confident, through experience, in the quality standards of our supply chain partners. Many of our suppliers have ISO certified quality procedures; others have very strong performance reputations in the industry. We confidently offer a quality guarantee which ensures clients do not pay for product which does not fully meet the agreed specification. There are two areas to consider, quality of product and quality of branding. We address quality of product by inviting clients to review plain samples prior to production, which reflect exactly the quality, style and specification of the bulk order product. Hambleside selects branding suppliers on the basis of production reliability, quality and cost effectiveness. To reduce unnecessary transport effects and costs, goods are usually shipped directly from production centres to clients. Quality checks are applied throughout the production process and prior to despatch according to individual supplier processes. Hambleside would be pleased to arrange site visits for staff to specific suppliers if required to inspect quality procedures. If requested, Hambleside will undertake additional pre-delivery inspection of goods to ensure client satisfaction. Hambleside also operates a customer’s satisfaction programme to get our customers feedback once the goods have been delivered. Hambleside monitor and control supplier quality using Non-conformance reporting, a recognised and authorised system through ISO. Our process is described on page 7 of our Operational document below. I have also attached an example of our non-conformance report to illustrate. All non-conformances are reviewed periodically to identify patterns and any repetitive failures that need to be addressed. Continual non-conformance by any one supply will result in our removal of them from our Approved Supplier List.   Standards Hambleside is proud to operate a management system certified to ISO 9001 Quality Management. Our certificate, QSE Manual and Quality Processes are attached for your viewing. All products supplied and practices undertaken by or on behalf of Hambleside conform to all applicable British, European or International legislations. We have several safe guards in place to ensure all of our suppliers conform and all internal processes and environmental practices are independently assess by BSi.

      Hambleside are a Charter Member of the BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) which regulates its members in terms of best practice, legislation and service levels. Their Charter commitments are attached for your viewing. The Page Partnership is a Purchasing Group to which Hambleside is a founding member, allowing our clients to benefit from discounted rates on all products included in our annual catalogue and from the range of selected suppliers who’s products appear. This purchasing group also runs thorough checks on all included suppliers in terms of relevant legislation and quality standards, providing additional confirmation of our sources compliance. Hambleside are Sedex members, active in the enforcement of the WEEE directive as well as RoHS and all applicable International and National regulations a outlined within our QSE manual.
