The Hambleside Merchandise team visited the annual Trade Only show in Coventry at the end of January, and enjoyed two days of meeting suppliers and seeing what new and exciting products are available this year to bring to our clients!

The Trade Only National Show is the biggest merchandise industry show, hundreds of supplier’s exhibit and thousands of visitors attend the event. The show was a very successful event, and the whole team benefitted from meeting our suppliers and looking through new product offerings. There were plenty of new and innovative products at the show, including the power bank which is fast becoming one of the most popular giveaways and merchandise product for businesses. These mini power suppliers are a truly useful gift that clients carry around everywhere with them. Many are able to be pantone matched, and can have full colour digital print. The product we saw in use the most was the ubiquitous selfie stick! Selfie sticks are the latest way of taking photos with friends, and have become a very popular product with students and young people in particular. Sporty folk will love the new activity wrist bands and wearable tech items. The Sports Watches that are everywhere right now can measure your heart rate, tell you how many steps you’ve taken, even tell you how well you slept by monitoring the movement your watch goes through.

There were also beautiful corporate gifts on offer. Carbon fibre items made for bespoke and luxury gift sets for corporate gifts or incentives. The striking material could be made into ornaments, cufflinks, page labels, mini tool kits and bespoke items. All in all, the Trade Only show was great success, giving our team plenty of innovative ideas for merchandise options this year.
