Priors Court - Our Charity Of The Year

We are delighted to announce the Prior’s Court Foundation as our charity of the year. Priors Court Foundation manage a specialist residential school, young adult provision and a training development centre to support and improve the lives of young people ages 5-25 who are severely affected by autism.

We have been working with Priors Court for many years by providing them with their own branded merchandise and supplying them with tasks such as the fulfillment of our yearly catalogue mailing. These tasks enable the young adults to develop skills that are transferable to the workplace beyond Priors Court. If you received a copy of our latest catalogue or a pair of our branded socks it is likely that this was  packed and sent to you by one of the young adults.

'Only 32% of adults with autism are in some type of paid employment, the expectation for young adults with severe autism is that they will never enter the world of work. That reduces their independence and increases the risk of social exclusion. We're committed to bridging the employment gap and are extremely grateful to Hambleside Merchandise for providing fulfillment jobs for our young people'. Priors Court.

Please look out for further details of fundraising projects we will be supporting throughout the year.

Priors Court have recently released a short documentary highlighting the challenges faced by young people with severe autism and their families – and the amazing things they can achieve with the right support. 'Let Me Shine', their new single recorded at Abbey Road Studios is available to stream or download on all major sites including iTunes and Spotify.

Please do watch and share. #AimHigh
